DIY Rolling Notepaper

Hey, friends.
This article is going to show you how to easily make rolling notepaper.
Read the text carefully, don't roll too quick!


You will need:      blank receipet paper roll
                              string and tape
                              sawtooth from plastic wrap box

How to make it:                                          
1. Thread the string through the paper roll and hang it on hook or other place you like(but must be firm).

2. Cut the sawtooth into the right size for the paper roll. Then decorate it with paper tape or paper.

 3. Place the sawtooth upon the paper roll and stick it on the wall. (I used mt paper here.)

4. Voila, you can enjoy your homemade rolling notepaper now. Go and write something down. Ciao!

印章套色教學 Two Step Stamping Tutorial - Vintage Japanese Matchbox Label

當版畫技術傳到日本後，不得不佩服他們很會運用雙色以上的搭配技巧。早期日本火柴盒設計形形色色，圖案都非常有意思；有一系列是正紅色的標籤，非常顯眼，而我這次選的圖案主角是青蛙大使。
The block print was started from China, and it's somehow transferred to Japan. I can't deny that they use well with various colors combination. Vintage Japanese matchbox labels were with interesting images. There's a vermeil set label. I chose the frog ambassador.

這圖案唯一麻煩的地方是身上那斑斑點點，描圖時就已感到煩躁，搬上橡皮後，更是麻煩；所幸圖案的好處就是可以隨心所意地改變斑點位置，且並不會影響整體感。
The troublesome matter of this stamp is spots. I was kind of impatient when I transferred this image to tracing paper. But it's more annoying when I carved it on rubber stamp. Fortunately, I could change the spots place and it won't change the whole image.

環保印章座 Eco-stamp Handle

之前一直在想，有什麼方法可以取代木頭印章座，不然每個印章都需要一個木頭座有多麼不環保。目前試過厚紙板，神奇黏土跟軟磁鐵；而神奇黏土比較適合橡皮章，因為橡皮章本身有厚度，黏在木頭上蓋印還滿方便的，而且一個木頭塊可以重復使用不同的橡皮章，還滿環保的。不過唯一一個缺點是，會在木頭和橡皮章背面染色，不過還好我沒有很在意。

然而這方法不適用於膠版上，由於膠版過薄和硬，所以需要一個海綿夾在膠版和底座中間，因此我用軟磁鐵當實驗，成效還不錯。
I was thinking which could replace wood handle for stamp. I had tried cardboard, tack-it and magnetic sheet. All of them are useful, but tack-it is good for eraser stamps. You can use tack-it to stick wood and stamp, and recycle use them for other stamps with same wood. The only problem is the tack-it will dye the stamp and wood, but I don't care. Why did I say it's only good for eraser stamps? I did try stick the hectograph with wood; however, it didn't work well. Hectograph needs strong pressure to print; however, it's better to stick it with sponge tape on the back.  Therefor I tried another way - magnetic sheet. I stuck sponge tape on hectograph and the other side with magnetic sheet. Voila! You can use any magnetic stuff.

所需物品如下:印台，剪刀，軟磁鐵，海綿膠帶，膠版，磁性物品。

Need: ink pad, scissors, sponge tap,

 magnetic sheet, hectograph/rubber stamp, magnetic stuff.

紙膠帶收納方法

比起網路上的紙膠帶狂人，我的紙膠帶數量算很少，而且也沒有錢訂製一個專屬的紙膠帶箱子，但裝在盒子裡面多少有一些不方便，因為每次使用都要單個拿出來，也無法一次一覽全部的紙膠帶類型。
